Job Description

Job Requirements
We are looking for experienced Jaguar & Land Rover or other luxury brand sales professionals. These ideal candidate must have prior knowledge of our clientele base and have a strong book of business established. We have determined a few other qualifications below:
1. Automotive Sales Experience a must
 2. Steady work history with a proven track record of success
 3. Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a "people person")
 4. CRM knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency; ADP experience a plus
 5. Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
 6. Must possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through

Land Rover Glen Cove Parts Counterperson

The Automotive Parts Counterperson we are looking for will be responsible for assisting all mechanics and customers (both retail and wholesale) in purchasing needed parts and supplies. The Parts Counterperson is also responsible for achieving monthly sales and gross forecasts. This is a union position with full benefits.

Responsibilities and Duties
  •     Tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for a dealership.
  •     Locating available parts when the dealership is out of stock.
  •     Placing orders with the manufacturer
  •     Handling parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department and collision repair shop.
  •     Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer from time to time, and completing the appropriate record keeping.
  •     Utilizing parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced.
Job Requirements:

As an Automotive Parts Counterperson, you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success:
  •     Previous experience in dealership is preferred.
  •     Must have computer experience.
  •     Team oriented while being able to maintain a high level of customer service
  •     Candidates must pass pre-employment screening including drug test, background and driver's license check
